• Properly research and assess market entry conditions and choose the appropriate strategy
• Overcome cultural barriers between SME and its target markets
• Create and develop sound business models and plans
• Develop and refine product and/or service offers for maximum market uptake

• Execute organizational, marketing, and expansion campaigns to increase marketshare and profitability

Each client company's efforts in product/service development, marketing, strategic planning and finance will be assisted by systematic programs, which include advisory boards, mentor relationships, and customized services provided by the e5-SEA's pool of consultants and advisors. Service providers work closely with the e5-SEA, client company, and investors to coordinate the right mix of services, equipment, and capital required to rapidly develop promising SMEs. The business development process leads to the ultimate objective of client company profitability, IPO, or sale. e5-SEA services include:

National Programme Offices (NPOs)
In each country or region that the e5-SEA is active, a local presence is required. This is best achieved by engaging a local partnering organization to act as the e5-SEA representative and partner. This helps to overcome cultural barriers and improves local market knowledge. Sponsors of NPOs can be service providers actively engaged with one or more client companies, as well as governments interested in developing their sustainable energy sector.
